TSKP STUDIO is honored to announce that Farmington High School has been named the Best in Class: Education at the 30th Annual CREW CT Blue Ribbon Awards Gala.
The new Farmington High School is a transformative, 238,400-square-foot, three-story facility that redefines what a 21st-century educational environment can be. Situated on a shared municipal campus with the town hall and public library, the school’s design reflects a deep sensitivity to its surroundings—maximizing natural light, embracing the views of the scenic Farmington Valley, and welcoming both students and the broader public.

Designed around a series of compact, efficient learning communities, the building supports collaboration and flexibility, with classrooms, science labs, and breakout spaces anchored by open, adaptable environments. From the EDGE Studio—a fully equipped multimedia production space—to career technical education labs and arts facilities, every inch of the building was crafted to enhance student learning and engagement. Quiet zones offer space for reflection and focused study, while strong indoor-outdoor connections encourage movement and creativity.
More than a school, Farmington High is a hub for public life. The central corridor and cafeteria double as community gathering spaces for after-hours events, reinforcing the school’s role as an active civic center and praised as “a modern-day miracle” by Senator Richard Blumenthal at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
TSKP STUDIO is proud to have played a role in creating a space that will serve generations of learners—and a town that came together to make it happen.
