In July, TSKP was selected by the Massachusetts School Building Authority and local representatives to design and study the feasibility of consolidating the Brayton and Greylock Elementary Schools in North Adams. Randall Luther will be the Principal-In-Charge on the project, Jesse Saylor will be the Project Manager, and Julia McFadden will be the Project Architect. The team will begin by meeting with the community.
Tammy Daniels of iBerkshires wrote about last week's project kick-off meeting:
“Luther acknowledged that communities feel passionate about their schools but at the same time, consolidations have been a reality. The fundamental issue, he said, is how you get to that consensus about which school makes the most sense.”
