RiverTech High School at Goodwin University has reached a major construction milestone with the completion of its structural frame. The topping-off ceremony celebrates this achievement and honors the teams whose dedication and expertise are helping to create a state-of-the-art learning environment for students.

Located on Goodwin University’s East Hartford campus, the four-story, 100,000 square foot magnet high school began construction in 2024 and is scheduled to open in 2026. Designed to serve students in grades 9 through 12, the school will offer a full academic curriculum along with cutting-edge, career-focused programming rooted in Industry 5.0 principles.

RiverTech High School will feature advanced manufacturing labs, computer science and cybersecurity suites, and specialized spaces for virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence. Students will also have access to facilities for space mission simulation and Mars surface exploration, as well as computer and robot-aided fabrication tools that support hands-on learning and skill development.

The topping-off ceremony represents an exciting step forward for Goodwin University, East Hartford, and the region. Once completed, RiverTech High School will serve as a leading educational resource preparing students for post-secondary success and the evolving world of work.
