In the third video of this series, students and educators share how spaces like the Senior Summit, STEAM room, makerspace, engineering labs, and college-inspired common areas support independence, motivation, and future-ready learning.

Kathleen Greider, Superintendent of Schools: “We have really enhanced, like, incredible, the STEAM room makerspace, engineering labs. We’re starting science pathways that include engineering, biomedical science, and computer science. And this building really supports those things.”

Russell Crist, Principal: “It’s like, it’s like going to college. The students will really feel like they’re getting those, having a major in college when they go in those pathways.”

Student: “The start of my senior year, when I had a lot of college applications to work on, as well as my course load, I would stay after school every day and do work in the Senior Summit. And it kind of motivated me, having our own modern space where we could do our work. It kind of felt like I was a college student, getting my assignments done. So it was very motivating. I had a routine.”

Tori, Student: “My first time in the building was over the summer. I walked in. I was like, whoa! I saw all of the tables in the Grove. That was the first thing I saw. This feels like we’re on a college campus.”
