TSKP extends our congratulations to Dr. Michael T. Conner, Superintendent of Middletown School District, who was recently selected to join the America Rescue Plan Committee, a national committee created by the School Superintendents Association. It was established in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Stemming from the American Rescue Act of 2021, the committee will create recommendations on how to reopen schools safely, and how to distribute emergency funds.
"Appreciative, humbled, and honored to be selected on this national committee," Conner wrote in a post on Twitter. "A unique opportunity to create new value in the education sector underscoring innovation, creativity, and equity."
TSKP has recently worked with the Middletown School District on the new Beman Middle School, set to open this fall.
