TSKP STUDIO developed a master plan for campus wide improvements for this private high school. The implementation entailed 92,000 SF of new construction and 75,000 SF of renovation. The scope of work included: restoration of the historic Academy Building; removal of several outdated buildings; and expanding several existing facilities with transforming wrap-around designs.
The new Henry C. Bowen Building contains state-of-the-art laboratory classrooms, administrative offices and a new cafeteria with seating for 250. The new Elizabeth Hyde Arts Center contains an auditorium with seating for 290, specialized classrooms for fine arts and industrial arts, and a library. Many interior spaces were designed to take advantage of the site's breathtaking views. All of the buildings were brought into code compliance and overall upgrades. Through new construction, demolition, renovations, and landscaping, the Academy gained a focused and enhanced campus presence.
