TSKP STUDIO programmed and designed a phased expansion / renovation of the 178,000 SF facility allowing for continuous occupancy. In order to maximize the budget, the building received varying levels of renovations, along with partial roof replacement and 12,504 SF of new construction. TSKP STUDIO's design team developed the plan for phased renovations over a two-year span, which eliminated the need and expense of portables. The new construction consists of four small additions; a library/media center addition featuring the central courtyard (now the heart of the school), a stage and music room addition adjacent to the existing auditorium, and two reconfigured entrances. The project provided both badly needed upgrades to lighting, HVAC systems and finishes throughout, as well as improvements to the site, entry systems and overall image.
