SUSAN PINCKNEY, NCIDQ, SR. INTERIOR DESIGNER – ASSOCIATE. Susan has been promoted to TSKP Associate. She has more than 23 years of experience planning and designing interior spaces; and selecting furnishings, fixtures, and equipment for the educational, civic, retail, hospitality, and corporate fields. She joined TSKP Studio in 2012, actively engaging with users and owners to determine the appropriate allocation of budgetary resources to allow furnishings to address both users’ needs and the design intent of the architecture. Susan places great importance on the integration of technology, ergonomics of space and furnishings, and the functional and aesthetic longevity of finishes and furnishings. She is acknowledged for her ability to listen, build consensus and provide appropriate solutions to project challenges.
Clients appreciate Susan’s willingness to work with them from early planning through installation and completion. Her efforts are noted through her contributions to numerous award-winning projects including Guilford High School and Stamford Museum & Nature Center. Design is essential to her way of life which includes her love for creating beautiful pottery pieces inspired by an appreciation for the inherent natural art all around us.
