This office expansion for Wondriska Associates, a celebrated graphic design firm, accomplished several goals: expanding its physical space, remaining on its beautiful wooded site, and gaining a facility that reflects the design firm's image and design philosophy. The building's simple materials and colors blend with the original building and create a dramatic backdrop to the triangular wooded site. A theme of simplicity and purity is carried throughout the interior. The predominantly white interior space is divided by glass partitions, which provide private work areas, while retaining an open feeling. Spaces on both floors enjoy the dramatic view of the statuesque pines just outside the window wall.
