TSKP STUDIO planned and designed this new 13,500 SF community center for senior citizens, which provides facilities for food preparation and dining, crafts activities, fitness, small gatherings in front of a fire place, and large gatherings in a two-story multi-purpose room with a stage. The interior spaces are organized within the form of a simple rectangle, with many spaces along the building’s perimeter for window exposure. The simplicity of the building's form and exterior materials is interrupted by the warmth of a serpentine brick wall, which animates the primary corridor in the building.
